....come visit us in late May! There is a local event from May 23 - 26 in the Cobscook Bay area - the 11th Annual Down East Spring Birding Festival. They have many activities planned for adults and even a few for kids. You can check out the links below for more information.
Luckily, we are located pretty much smack dab in the middle of the activities. Not that they all occur here, but most are within a 30 mile radius of the Cottages. Rather than stay at the outer edges in one of the towns where the activities are being held and having to drive an hour to get to another activity, if you stay here you shouldn't have more than a 20-30 min drive on average - some less than that. Plus, what better place for an avid birder to stay than one that is located in the middle of nature where you can sit on the porch overlooking the pond or river and watch the birds. :)
