New rates for 2022

Wow, I guess we haven't posted on this blog in quite a while! During this last year, we felt the prominent aqua-colored note on our homepage and Facebook posts were the best way to update everyone regarding any changes to COVID-19 travel restrictions and safety protocols. Please continue to check that for any changes.

Due to the events of 2020, we decided not to change our rates for 2021 as we had originally planned. Everyone deserves time away at pre-pandemic prices :)

However, we have not changed our rates since 2018. So, starting in 2022, we are changing our rate structure. Weekly rates will no longer be flat rates that do not take into account the number of people in a cottage. They will be based on the nightly rates with a 15% discount for stays of 7 nights or longer. Weekly rates will also include the additional person fees for occupancy over 2. Children 6 and under are still free.

The additional person fee will remain $10/person/night, this corresponds to $59.50/person/week with the 15% discount.

Below are the 2022 rates for a base occupancy of 2 people in each cottage:

April/May:

Cottage per night per week

#1 & 5 $110 $654.50

#2, 3, & 6 $95 $565.25

#4 $100 $595.00

#7 $85 $505.75

June - September:

Cottage per night per week

#1 & 5 $120 $714.00

#2, 3, & 6 $105 $624.75

#4 $110 $654.50

#7 $95 $565.25

October/November:

Cottage per night per week

#1 & 5 $115 $684.25

#2, 3, & 6 $100 $595.00

#4 $105 $624.75

#7 $90 $535.50

Here's an example:

If you rent Cottage #1 for a week anytime June through September, and you have 2 people, the rate for the week is $714+tax.

If you have 6 people the rate changes to $952+tax. That's $714+(4*59.50)

The lodging tax in Maine is 9%.

We do not charge any other fees!

No fees for pets

No fees for using boats

No fees for firewood

No fees for borrowing DVDs

No fees for cleaning

No hidden fees :)
