July 1st - UPDATE:
According to Governor Mill's update today, as of this Friday, July 3rd, residents from CT, NY, & NJ (in addition to residents of ME, NH, & VT) are exempt from having to get tested or complete a 14-day quarantine and so will not be required to sign the Certificate of Compliance. The exempt states are chosen by looking at number of new cases per day, taking into account population.
The Governor did say if you can get tested before coming, please consider doing so even if you are in an exempt state. Her motto is "Know Before You Go".
The new executive order has not been posted yet, but we will post the link when it is.
June 12th - UPDATE:
According to the "Keep Maine Healthy" plan, we are now allowed to accept reservations from New Hampshire and Vermont residents, in addition to Maine residents. Visitors from other states may make reservations for June 26th and beyond. These visitors will be required to attest to a 14-day quarantine or a recent (no later than 72 hrs prior to arrival) negative COVID-19 test. Guests will be asked to fill out a Certificate of Compliance upon arrival. This form can be found here or at the plan link. For more information, please read the "Keep Maine Healthy" plan and the FAQ document.
All Executive orders can be found here.

The regular cleaning of the cottages between guests will be enhanced with even more attention given to the disinfection of often-touched surfaces such as door handles, light switches, etc. If supplies are available, we will do our best to provide disinfectant wipes, spray, and hand sanitizer in each cottage. You are more than welcome to bring your own disinfectant/cleaning supplies. If you would prefer to bring your own bedding and/or towels, please let us know and we will make sure the beds are unmade for you.
We understand some of you may need to cancel your reservation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. You will have two options upon canceling: 1) a full refund of your deposit, or 2) you can make a reservation for a later time this year or next year and we can apply your deposit towards that. We will make every effort to issue timely refunds.
Temporary House Rules:
While here we ask that you stay 6 feet or more from other guests, have masks on hand to wear as needed, and practice good hand-hygiene. We are using contact-less check-in and check-out whenever possible. To this end, if you can pay your balance ahead of arrival, it would be greatly appreciated. Upon arrival you can follow the signs to your cottage and the key will be in the door. Upon departure you can leave the key in the door as you found it.
If you have specific questions, please call or email us. We wish you all well and look forward to serving you in the future.
